Gutman has undoubtedly done a favor for the reading public. She has, unwittingly of course, given us a pictorial clearly demonstrating the hypocrisy of leftist political correctness. The PC crowd praises themselves on their multicultualism, tolerance, and diversity. They praise themselves on their ability to be nice to people. Unless, of course, it is Jews, Christians, or conservatives who disagree with their point of view.
Terrorists hate Jewish people without reservation. This hatred also spreads to Christians and anyone else who stands in their way. You would think the PC crowd would reject a group of people who are so anti-multicultural, anti-tolerant, and anti-diversity. However, the PC crowd embraces these people who are actively working against what the PC philosophy claims to stand for. Therefore, we must conclude that political-correctness does not really mean multiculturalism, tolerance and diversity. Political correctness is really about authoritarianism.
The photo of Gutman and the pretend (?) terrorist with his pretend (?) AK 47 is in exceptionally poor taste. A real life terrorist deliberately targets and murders innocent women, men, and their children in order to create political terror. Gutman should know this. As we all know, she is an academic. Yet she embraces him in the name of tolerance. She is a perfect example of the useful idiot.
There is another photo over at RWN that is related to this. The photo may have been taken at a different location of the party; however, it is unmistakably abhorrent. There are two pretend terrorists in the picture - one is the same man in the picture with Gutman - with their pretend AK 47s. There is a young female student dressed in a Santa Claus outfit; she is kneeling. One of the pretend terrorists has his AK 47 pointed at the back of her head while the other holds his pretend AK 47 in one hand and pretends to be reading from a little green book in the other hand. In other words, we have the depiction of an Islamic execution directed against a female. This is not funny. It is abhorrent. Executions of females in Islamic countries have taken place in just such a manner. Several years ago I saw a news video of Talibanic activity in an Afghani soccer stadium. The staduim floor was filled with rings of people. One Taliban man marched a female, clad in her burqa to the edge of a ring of people. He had her kneel. He then pointed the rifle to her head. The next thing I saw was the dust cloud in front of her head before she collapsed to the ground. I was stunned. Never before had I seen such a thing. An innocent woman gunned down for violating some insane point of Islamic law.
Such is the nature of the people we are fighting. Yet, the pretend terrorists are treated like golden boys.
Gutman should resign her position. The students should be placed on probation or expelled. Better yet, why have they not been sent to sensitivity training? Do they not know this offends Jews and Christians in the Middle East who have lost loved ones to suicide bombers? Do the the lives of Jews and Christians in the Middle East mean anything to the PC crowd? Of course, the answer is no. Again, the PC crowd is very selective about the validity of whose feelings can be hurt and whose feelings can be ignored.
Political correctness is a cage. It is intellectual and cultural suicide. Even worse, it is a philosophy that is deliberately practiced as hypocrisy. These photos demonstrate the active hypocrisy of the PC philosophy.
