HAVE YOU HAD ENOUGH YET?
Are you just a little suspicious of an administration with so many people in the oil business? Do you like being told you're benefitting from the "free market" while the oil companies are getting subsidies WITH YOUR MONEY so they can screw you even more?
How about the way Bush tells us we're addicted to oil! No kidding! We used to have a train system
like the Europeans, the Japanese and just about every other civilized country in the world, but the
government colluded with the car companies and oil companies to get rid of it. Free market? Spare me! I notice that the Japanese
came up with hybrid cars, but not U.S. companies.
I mean, what does it take, folks, to get you away from FOX NEWS and onto your hind legs?
Look, let's show these bastards we have some blood in our veins. Let's show them we have some regard for other human beings, for instance, that people shouldn't become destitute because they got sick and couldn't afford the medical bills. Bush has a suggestion: "Start a savings account." There's the answer, of course!
What will it take to get us off our butts? Gasoline at $9.00 a gallon? An October surprise? Suspension of elections because of a terrorist attack . . . or the threat of one? Just kidding . . . . yeah, right.
Yes, let's boycott Exxon-Mobil. That's a good first step. If we can actually do something together like that, it will put the fear into the bandits who have stolen this government.
But that's not the end of it. We need to hold their feet to the fire on every issue. And the Democrats need to be watched too. Don't get complacent. Let's vote them in, but don't let them rest for a minute.
