Bob Herbert has a column in our local paper entiteld " Mr. Vice President, It's Time to Go."
The article was supplied by the New York Times Service.
Here is a quote: "Cheney is arrogant, defiant and at times blatantly vulgar. He once told Sen. Patrick Leahy to perform a crude act upon himself."
Oh my goodness. What a terrible thing to do.
But wait..........did not President Clinton actually perform the vulgar act on one of his interns?! Not once, twice....how many times?? Yes, he did. By his own admission. Eventually. He also lied to a grand jury which is a criminal act for us serfs. But apparently not for royalty.
Liberals defended Clinton after the revelation of his Monica trysts; howevever, when the current VP has a hunting accident we are reminded that he once used the "F" word in a heated confrontation with a political rival. How significant. I am sure the liberals would say that Clinton was not defiant when he told us he did not have sex with that woman. He was just being principled, trying to protect his family, legacy,...you know, save face. We certainly do not need to smear the Office of the President in a time of peace.
Liberals purposefully refuse to distinguish the difference between their man Clinton and anyone else holding office.
