Breaking: Benghazi 'Cover-Up' Emails Lead Directly to White House (Video)

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Thanks to Judicial Watch's efforts to obtain previously unreleased internal Obama administration emails, we now finally know who orchestrated the phony story that an internet video was behind the Benghazi attack. The man behind the phony story is senior White House adviser Ben Rhodes, and the purpose was none other than to 'underscore that the protests were rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure of Obama's policy.' The Rhodes communications strategy email also instructs recipients to (ridiculously) portray Obama as "steady and statesmanlike" throughout the crisis. In other words, instead of telling the truth about the attack on Benghazi ... that it was a terror attack, the White House came up with a Bullsh*t story that it was an unplanned attack prompted by a video that barely anyone had ever seen.

Bottom line ... Ben Rhodes, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, and Barack Obama LIED about their policy failures that resulted in the deaths of four American heroes, and then LIED to cover it up.

Catherine Herridge reported some new developments in the investigation into the Sept. 2012 Benghazi attack, including the release of documents that lead directly to the White House. Among the documents, obtained by Judicial Watch through a FOIA request, is an email from senior White House adviser Ben Rhodes to other top administration officials, including Press Secretary Jay Carney.

Under the subject "prep call with Susan," Rhodes wrote that the goal for Rice's appearances on Sunday talk shows would be "to underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure or policy."

The message was sent three days after the attacks, which left four Americans dead at a U.S. consulate and nearby CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya.

Days later, Rice would go on numerous Sunday news programs, including on Fox News Sunday, to falsely assert that the Benghazi attack was spontaneous and occurred during a protest over an anti-Islam video. Since that time, the White House has come under fierce criticism from Republicans, who allege that the administration altered the CIA's talking points about how the Benghazi attack unfolded.

Via Ed Lasky at American Spectator:
When the video story was shown to be false, I speculated that Ben Rhodes, Obama's speechwriter turned into Deputy National Security Adviser, likely played a key role in trying to convey a lie. He had a history of creating false narratives, as covered in "Ben Rhodes: Obama's Fixer Behind the Benghazi Cover-up.".

The Judicial Watch report confirms that well-founded suspicion:

As Joel Pollack points out at Breitbart, today, Lasky notes that Rhodes's brother heads CBS News, which recently lost reporter Sheryl Atikisson--at least partly, she alleges, because the network did not like her reporting on Benghazi and other Obama administration scandals, including Operation Fast & Furious. Rhodes, Lasky says, "will do his boss's bidding, hiding information, manipulating the facts, distract people: the truth and the American people be damned."

And who can forget Barack Obama blaming the video during his UN speech!

These people are disgusting liars, undeserving of their offices.
