Video: Now Obama even lying about his lies

Topics: Political News and commentaries

In giving yet another speech as his signature policy website remains in shambles and the policy itself is falling apart, President Barack Obama changed has his central Obamacare promise - again employing some 'slight of hand' ... as "a crowd of human props, party funders, entourage and hangers-on" (as aptly described by Bryon Preston at PJ Media) "lapped up the president's new line:

"Now, if you have or had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really liked that plan, what we said was you can keep it if it hasn't changed since the law passed."
Of course as everyone should know by now, everything after the "if" is new. His original line, which he spoke at least 29 times over the course of the past few years, was "If you like your healthcare, you can keep your healthcare. Period."
No "if" and none of the stuff after that was in the original. The original was a lie -- the administration knew that it wasn't true three years ago but it stayed in Obama's speeches anyway. Now Obama is lying about that. He's added some fine print to what was a clear declaration.

As Byron Preston goes on to point out, that fine print, which negates everything he said previously, goes hand in hand with another story that broke today. CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson details how the Obama administration granted itself a waiver allowing it to launch Healthcare.gov without adequate security testing.

That puts every user's personal information at risk. Use Healthcare.gov and you have no guarantee that your information will stay secure.
