'Barrycades' Causing Park Service to Lose More Than $76 Million Each DayTopics: Political News and commentaries
Barack Obama's completly unprecidented 'barrycading' of the nation's parks and monuments has cost the Park Service $76 million each day during the shutdown. And that's not all ... In addition to the $76 million in lost daily visitor spending, $450,000 in daily campground fees and boat rentals has also dried up.
And let there be no misunderstanding, the closures and the revenue loss has been completely unnecessary. No president before Obama has ever closed the nation's parks and monuments during a shutdown. Only spiteful, temper-tantrum, Barack "Make-Life-As-Difficult-As-Possible" Obama has done so - which not only has robbed Americans from visiting their own parks and monuments (the people own them - all are paid for with taxpayer dollars) it has also unnecessarily cost the Park Service hundreds of millions of dollars during the shutdown.
