Hammer Murder Update - Time to Ban Hammers

DICKSON, Tenn. (AP) - A Dickson man who intentionally stepped onto a Nashville interstate to be struck by traffic has told the TBI he hit his wife repeatedly with a hammer.Hmmm... . Hammers are evil, they need to be banned. The FBI reports that the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outnumbers the number of murders committed with a rifle.The first-degree murder charge against 23-year-old Morris Long was sent to a Dickson County grand jury on Friday.
Long was hit by a tractor-trailer truck on Interstate 40 on December 22. That was the day after 21-year-old Ashlee Long was found dead. Morris Long recovered from his injuries.
And tractor trailers could be next.
