Barack. Obama' Ego Shows Up Again In His Latest Temper Tantrum

Once again, Barack Obama has gone off script, pulled out his faux indignation routine, and in doing so exposed his darker side:

LOS ANGELES, November 15, 2012 President Valerie Jarrett sent out her spokesperson Barack Obama to take questions from the media.

It was Mr. Obama's first real press conference in eight months. As with previous press conferences, questions requiring a "yes" or "no" answer would be given lengthy explanations to reduce the number of questions asked. Whether the topic was Benghazi or the looming fiscal cliff, President Jarrett instructed Mr. Obama to answer all questions with "invest in education" or "green energy."

Yet Mr. Obama went off script, and again showed his darker side, a term that relates to their character, not their melanin content.

Mr. Obama again forgot his past sops to civility by accusing Republicans of holding his tax hike agenda "hostage." His subordinates routinely refer to Republicans as "hostage takers" for having principled policy disagreements. In the interest of "coming together," there is a solution.

The next time Jarrett's spokesperson or anyone else refers to Republicans as taking "hostages," the administration should be shown pictures of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Gilad Shalit, and the people taken by Iran in 1979. Mr. Obama may not know a hostage from a hole in the ground, which coincidentally is where President Jarrett's predecessor George W Bush found Saddam Hussein, a real hostage taker.

What Mr. Obama considers hostage taking is what the Founding Fathers called democracy and separation of powers. Sadly, Mr. Obama's ego is held hostage by itself.

Keep reading, there's much more.
