New Crossroads GPS Ad: "Excuses"

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Crossroads GPS, the Republican group founded by Karl Rove and others, has released a video that criticizes Obama for what it says are "excuses" for his slow economic recovery.

To be clear, the president's policies are not and have not been working. The little improvement in the economy since he came to office is nothing more than the sputterings of what should have been a normal post-recession recovery. Under Obama's policies we've just barely gotten back to where we were when the recession began. Unlike past recessions, we haven't enjoyed a strong bounce. And this means we haven't recovered the output that was lost during the downturn. And there's no way for the economy to gain steam because its hindered by the anti-growth, big spending-big government, anti-free market, Keynesian-based policies of Obamanomics (trickle-up poverty) ... having put Bushanomics on steroids. Simply put, no matter how you wish to cut it ... Statism Never Works.
