The "Hope & Change" That Has Turned Out To Be But Despair And Change For The Worse
Topics: Political News and commentariesEvery now and then I'm so overwhelmed with disgust over the actions, policies, and agenda of the present occupant in the White House, I just can't hold back from letting loose a rant ... and today is one of those days!
After three-and-a-half years of his failed policies, and of his dysfunctional Administration, which have been an abysmal disaster in all fronts - the economy, unemployment, health-care, social issues, domestic policy, and, critically, in his cowering, inept, and amateurish, handling of Foreign Policy, Obama's so much touted "Hope & Change" have rather turned out to be but dismal despair and a turn for the worse, for this nation, and the world.
Under Obama things have gotten so out of control, that unbelievably, even in an election year, when you would not expect it to be so, because obviously it is detrimental to his re-election efforts, the economy is stagnant, unemployment keeps rising, housing prices plummet even further, gas remains prohibitive, and electricity rates soar to unprecedented levels!
On the domestic front, Obama, the supposedly "post-racial" president for whom many naive Americans voted in the hope of putting America's racial past behind them, has turned out to be the most racially polarizing and divisive president in American history, who has but politicized, stoked, and re-awakened, old dormant racial hatreds and resentments, for cheap political gain. Likewise, with his on-going Marxist-inspired "class warfare" he has for political gains exploited the basest human sentiments, such as envy, to gain the political support of the "have-nots" while making the "haves" political scapegoats for the very same ills that he, his profligate spending, his socialistic policies, and his mis-management of this nation have brought about!
Part of Obama's supposed "Hope & Change" was his promise that his Administration would be the most forthcoming and "transparent" ever. Yet, his has been one of the most corrupt, secretive, and obfuscating Administrations in recent history!
His Department of Justice is a joke, and a mockery to the Rule of Law! His racially biased Attorney General, Eric Holder, selectively champions the rights of blacks and minorities to vote (even illegal aliens), yet would not prosecute the two armed Black Panther thugs that were bullying precinct workers and intimidating voters with racial epithets at a polling place in Philadelphia on election day. Holder enthusiastically sues states and law enforcement officers trying to enforce the law, while releasing criminal illegal aliens out unto our streets - many of whom have then robbed, raped children, killed people, and or caused drunken fatalities! Now, he thumbs his nose at Congress, and at the parents of slain Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, and refuses to divulge who is responsible for the asinine "Fast & Furious" fiasco that let thousands of guns walk across to Mexico into the hands of the drug cartels, that have been responsible for the death of agent Terry, as well as that of hundreds of Mexican nationals!
Obama's aptly named carnival clown press secretary, Jay Carney, had the audacity the other day to protest in his spin that instead of pursuing answers in the "Fast & Furious" debacle and or charge Attorney General Holder with Contempt of Congress for his lying to Congress, his obstruction of justice, and all his cover-up, that Republican members of the House should rather be concerned about jobs. Really, Carney? I can't imagine how you can say that with a straight face!
Why doesn't the disingenuous Carney clown tell that to his boss Obama! When we need jobs and affordable energy the most, Obama shuts down by presidential "fiat" (apparently the only way he knows how to get his way and push his tyrannical agenda) the Keystone XL Pipeline that would have brought 900,000 barrels of much needed oil a day from Canada to refineries in Texas - curtailing our dependency on oil from the Middle East, and that would have created over 20,000 jobs. Or how about when the president implemented, again through presidential fiat, asinine new more aggressive EPA regulations to please his tree-hugging, environmentalist, "Green" commies, that are purposely strangling and bankrupting the coal industry in Obama's "War on Coal", which has resulted in thousands of lay-offs and in skyrocketing electrical bills. Now, when the American people can least afford it! Imagine, just in Missouri alone, 81% of all electrical power is generated by coal. How many Americans will be able to afford $500.00 - $800.00 electrical monthly bills? What are we to use instead? Move into teepees and burn buffalo chips, and Obama dung, for fuel?
Then there is the EPA's ridiculous enforcement of existing regulations that requires that oil companies mix a certain percentage of that Quixotic fuel of the "Greenies", cellulosic ethanol - a biofuel produced from wood, grasses, or the inedible parts of plants - which no one in America yet produces, and that therefore does not exist! How absurd can you get?!?!
Talking about biofuels, then there is the sheer imbecility of burning up our food supplies as fuel, and using the corn we grow to make biodiesel; which in turn has made the price of corn go through the roof, making the feed the farmers need far more expensive, beef more expensive, milk more expensive, bread more expensive, and has had as a result the domino effect of increasing the price of food items worldwide. Something that has been a contributing factor to all the uprisings and the political turmoil and instability Obama has brought upon the world in his wake.
After all, America is indeed the world's breadbasket, and when poor people in other countries, because of growing scarcity, cannot afford the rising price of food, and must go hungry - because we are asininely burning our corn as biodiesel on account of Obama and his "Greenie", loony, idiots, it inevitably has negative consequences.
And, again, this at a time when many Americans can least afford it: Rising electricity rates and fuel prices, as well as the rising cost of food; with no jobs to be had!
Even the modern day Afro-American 'slaves' of the "Democrat's 21st Century Plantation", though they will still doggedly vote for "their master" because he is one of their own, must in their heart of hearts be sorely disappointed with Obama.
I mean, Obama has certainly not lived up to the irrational expectations of such social leeches like that black idiot in Florida, Peggy Joseph, that appeared on YouYube, who took her daughter out of school early one day to attend an orgasmic Obama rally, was jumping up and down and crying for joy about Obama in front of the camera, remarking it was the most "memorable" day of her life, and how if Obama was elected, then "she wouldn't have to worry about putting gas in her car, and wouldn't have to worry about paying her mortgage". Really? After three-and-a half years of "Obama" reality must have hit her like a freight train!
What is more, perhaps, ironically, with the worsening economy, the joblessness, the foreclosures, and the skyrocketing gas prices, Obama has indeed fulfilled the asinine expectations of people like her....but in a dark and macabre way: They don't have to worry about putting gas in their car, because it was repossessed and or gathering cobwebs in the parking lot - because they can't afford the gas! And they don't have to worry about paying their mortgage because their home was foreclosed on! But, hey, they have Food Stamps!
Then, there is Obama's failed Foreign Policy. With all his apologizing for America and deference to Islamists. His indecisiveness, and ineptitude in times of crisis; such as his betrayal of Mubarak, that may well eventually unravel the 30 years of peace that there has been between Egypt and Israel. His "leading from behind" in Lybia, even as the Lybian people were being slaughtered by Gaddafi - leaving it to the British and the French to act in his stead, while Obama, wringing his hands and vacillating, cogitated on what to do! His failure to act in Syria, even as the Syrian people are being massacred. Or how about his pussy-footing with Iran, even as Iran inches every day closer to developing a nuclear weapon, with which to threat the very existence of Israel, and or may well place in the hands of Islamists extremists to blow it up in our own backyard!
And there is Obama's servile bowing down to foreign Emperors, Saudi princes, tin-pot dictators, and foreign dignitaries! We must be thankful Obama has not yet met with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, because being that since Castro must certainly be one of Obama's Marxist "Revolutionary" Icons, if he met with Castro, Obama would bow so low as to perform fellatio on him!
At the recent G-20 Summit in Mexico, Obama was but a caricature of himself. Now that he's no longer the "Rock Star" in such gatherings, and having the world's leaders, at this point, seen the kind of leadership Obama has to offer, he seemed discombabulated and morose - like a fish out of water. Apparently, our "Campaigner-in-Chief" can only function at his best, when he's the center of attraction - such as at his political rallies, where women swoon at his sight, and or when reading from a teleprompter some lofty script written for him! Nobody swooned at the sight of our 'exalted' failure at the G-20 Summit in Mexico! That must have been vexing for Obama!
Putin treated him with disdain - you could see the contempt in his eyes when he looked at Obama. Other world leaders were polite, even as Obama bowed to them, but assuredly behind his back they mocked and ridiculed him - this, inept, naive, and indecisive, imperious black American upstart, so full of himself, but unable and or unwilling to assert and defend American power and interests! America's enemies stick their middle finger at Obama and sneer with contempt. Indeed a "Paper Tiger"! What a joke!
All the while, his wife Michelle, who was never "proud of her country before", until the American voters ill-chose to elect her husband to the presidency, vacations in Martha's Vineyard - with those selfsame "haves" Obama so repudiates; traipses through Paris on expensive shopping sprees; takes African safaris; and or hobnobs with Spanish Royalty on the Spanish Riviera, in Marbella Spain, with her retinue of fellow, resented, nappy-haired, Afro-Americans. All, of course, at the American taxpayer's expense.
Was this the "Hope & Change" you voted for America? Or is it now rather our only "Hope" that there is "Change" come November!
