GWU Battleground Poll: Independents believe Obama has made economy worse

Topics: Political News and commentaries

The latest George Washington University Battleground poll provides not-so good news for Team Obama:

[...] Not only is Obama down a point to Mitt Romney in a head to head match-up, 48 percent to 47 percent, but a plurality of those voters who are undecided say they believe Obama's policies have made the economy worse.

... among those respondents who self identified as independents, only 33 percent said Obama had made the economy better, 18 percent said Obama has had no impact, and 43 percent said Obama has made the economy worse.

Meanwhile, Rasmussen's (survey of likely voters) and Gallup's (survey of registered voters) are in agreement: One candidate is leading in both polls ... Romney leads by 2 in Rasmussen and 1 in Gallup.
