Obama Tells Journalists How To Report His PositionsTopics: Political News and commentaries
As reported at RCC ... Obama said to reporters:
"This bears on your reporting," President Obama said to journalists. "I think that there is oftentimes the impulse to suggest that if the two parties are disagreeing then they're equally at fault and the truth lies somewhere in the middle. And an equivalence is presented which I think reinforces peoples' cynicism about Washington in general. This is not one of those situations where there's an equivalency."Note that he says nothing about his "middle of the road," supposedly "centrist" budget having received absolutely no votes from his own party in last year's 97-0 rejection in the Senate, nothing about the fact that his budget is so far left and and so significantly increases our nation's debt that not a single House Democrat voted for his budget, nothing about the 5th Judicial Circuit's stunning rebuke of his criticism of SCOTUS, nothing about his healthcare bill being so left of center that an overwhelming majority of Americans hate it and want it repealed, nothing about his radically far-left attack on religious freedom, nothing about he and his chief strategist, David Axelrod, having been pushing far left, Marxist-level, class warfare unceasingly for over three years now. Simply put, he's no centrist, not on these issues, nor on "the budget and a host of other issues," as Obama puts it.
"As all of you are doing your reporting, I think it's important to remember that the positions that I am taking now on the budget and a host of other issues. if we had been having this discussion 20 years ago or even 15 years ago ... would've been considered squarely centrist positions," Obama said a few moments later.
The man's delusional to think so and even more so to think that anyone outside his base (which, of course, does include most of the journalists he's speaking to and who care little about truth and the facts) would believe his policies and actions are "middle of the road" decisions.
Besides, who is he to dictate how he's to be reported on, anyway. We're not living in a Gulag, yet ... and probably never will ... that is, unless this guy gets another four years to complete his "transformation" of America into his liberal-progressive, utopian, insolvent, nanny state.
