The Volt is emblematic of the entire Obama administration's ever-growing big government giveaways to unions, crony capitalism, and its war on the free market.. Just like Obama, the only reason the Volt exists is because someone else paid for it (the tax payers are paying for Obama's never-ending campaign to be emperor). Both he and the Volt are all hype and no substance. The only people who can drive it are the very rich. It costs the taxpayers $250,000 per Volt sold and billions of dollars to keep it on the road. It would disappear if the Obma administration and the alphabet corporate media didn't constantly prop it up.
