An Really Big 'Uh-oh' For Ron Paul?
Topics: Political News and commentaries
Jeffrey Lord points to a piece at Conservatives Network that could very well be the detailed smoking gun that proves beyond doubt that Ron Paul wrote his controversial newsletters, and bring about an abrupt end to the Paul candidacy.
If so, goodbye Ron ... and good riddance. His views on foreign policy, drug laws and the federal government are almost certain to keep him from the nomination, but if he did win, it's a certainty that he has little chance of beating Barack Obama in 2012.
As I've repeatedly noted in past posts, at this point there's no candidate that I support - yet, but the one man I continue to believe is most likely to have a good chance of beating Obama is Mitt Romney.
As of today, the frequently reliable Intrade prediction market gives Romney a 64.5%. Intrade gives Ron Paul a 7.5% chance.
