Occupy D.C. Protesters Reject Table Full of Job Applications
Topics: Political News and commentariesChristopher Santarelli reports at The Blaze on the news media watchdog Accuracy in Media's (AIM) release of a video Wednesday that debunks the notions from some that the Occupy protesters are primarily concerned with jobs. After speaking with three dozen Occupy protestors over several hours with hundreds of genuine job applications on hand, AIM was able to garner only two job applications ... one for Disney ... and one for the failed energy company, Solyndra (the only 'fake' application - included for the sole purpose of determinint how aware the protesters were of current events). Accuracy in Media summed up their effort this way in a written statement:
"After more than a month of protest demands for better employment opportunities and benefits, Accuracy in Media saw fit to test their desires with ... employment applications. Our 'headhunters' were treated to every excuse as to why these jobs aren't good enough for them. We guess middle management opportunities with healthcare and 401k benefits aren't desirable anymore."
These people don't want a job ... they want the government to take care of them. The fact that the government gets its money from profitable businesses and hard working taxpayers is obviously beyond their ability to comprehend ... unless, of course, they have another agenda in mind.
