Romney Back On Top In New National Poll
Topics: Political News and commentariesA Fox News poll has Romney on top, for now, but it's still a a Romney/Perry race (with Cain close behind Perry) unless Perry continues to fumble.
I still have no dog in this hunt, but I'm going to stick my neck out here and make a prediction. Look to see Cain fade, and Romney pull out ahead of Perry. And my 'only' basis for making such a prediction is that voters will eventually perceive Cain (whose positions I mostly agree with) to be somewhat less than presidential and unelectable in the general, and that GOP primary voters will eventually perceive Romney to be more able to snag votes from centrists. If my basis turns out to be wrong, than my prediction will be wrong. Surely any arguments to the contrary at this point are just as valid as my own.
