The Reuters' title boldly proclaims 'Obama jobs speech venue part of election strategy':

(Reuters) -- President Barack Obama's use of a rare joint session of Congress to deliver a jobs speech on Thursday reflects a political strategy to try to blame Republicans for an economy at risk of sliding back into recession.
Well, thank you, Captains Obvious. We really didn't need you to tell us what everyone with a lick of commons sense already knows about a man that has never stopped campaigning since the day he took office and never passes up an opportunity to score cheap political points over anyone and everyone that opposes his pro-big labor, anti-business, deficit-exploding, job-killing, freedom-robbing, anti-entrepreneurial, nanny state agenda.
