Awkward Moment: White House Video Touted Solyndra as a Stimulus Success Story
Topics: Global Warming, Political News and commentariesA bit awkward? Indeed, to say the least. Despite $535 million in government loans and the White House touting Solyndra as an example of how the $800 billion stimulus bill was helping create jobs, everyone in the following video is now unemployed:
Even worse, it turns out that not only did Solyndra execs make frequent visits to the White House, Administration officials actually sat in on board meetings as "observers" at Solyndra.
Nothing like the White House picking winners in private industry (er... make that 'losers').
