Obama is a Tea Partier?
Topics: Political News and commentariesAs loony as that sounds, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka is so radically far-left, so much a Marsixt, and just loony enough to actually believe that Obama aligned himself with the Tea Party in the debt limit fight.
Quite the contrary, the Tea Party members of the GOP were dead-set against increasing the debt limit without significant and very real fiscal policy changes, otherwise the nation would end up right where we are now post-deal, with a big-spending, socialist-leaning, president that's still stuck on the now much-discredited keynesian economics and determined to spend ever more and continue to drive the nation ever deeper in unsustainable debt with the only outcome possible being national insolvency.
As for Trumpka and the other socialist/Marxist union bosses who want more and more government spending at taxpayer expense in the misguided and naive belief that government creates jobs, they're unable to comprehend the fact (or just don't care) that government spending of debt money does not result in any net creation of jobs at all. They just don't get that it only confiscates wealth from private citizens and businesses and forces them to pay for centrally-planned jobs that the real economy usually neither needs nor benefits from, or are only temporary (even the AP confirms that government spending does not create jobs).
And then there's the fact that it is really the case that union bosses could care less what financial shape the nation is in as long as they get their pockets filled and can keep buying political influence from the Democrats in a never-ending cycle of more and more union cash for more and more political (pay for play) influence for more and more union cash ... etc., etc., etc. ... ad infinitum.
