'Irene Reviving Relationship of Global Warming to Hurricanes' ?

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Has Irene revived the relationship of global warming to hurricanes?

It must be the case because, so says, you guessed it ... the "hurricanes are getting worse because of human-induced climate change"/Alinky-ite/Cloward and Piven-ite, "never let a crisis" (or even a non-crisis) go to waste - New York Times.

As ridiculously alarmist as this sounds (given that the the oceans have not heated up, global air temperatures have not risen significantly over the last 11 years, and as Steve Gilbert points out at the above link - Irene turned out to be much milder than expected) ... it's no surprise the NYT would jump at the chance to hype it - anything that works for Obama is water to be carried by his lap-dog liberal-progressive media.

And as Quin Hillyer notes at The American Spectator, it's consistent with the Alinky-ite/Cloward and Piven-ite model in that a crisis is Obama's friend, an angry reaction is his ally, and disorder is his (and the NYT's) goal.

Readers will find short, interesting, straight-forward, and non-politically motivated perspectives on the subject of hurricanes and global warming - here and here.
