CBS News calls it a "possible sighting":

[...] Police in Colorado Springs said Tuesday they have received "credible information" that people matching the description of the Dougherty siblings, who are wanted for crimes in Florida and Georgia, were spotted in Colorado.

Colorado Springs Sgt. Steven Noblitt said it hasn't been confirmed that 21-year-old Ryan Edward Dougherty, 26-year-old Dylan Dougherty Stanley and 29-year-old Lee Grace Dougherty are in the area, but the FBI said the people spotted Tuesday were in a small white Subaru Impreza with the stolen Texas license plate LCS 909. The crime suspects were last seen in a 2006 white Impreza.

The possible sighting near Interstate 25 north of downtown Colorado Springs was reported around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The trio are believed to be armed and dangerous. and may be headed to a campground or rural area to escape detection, said Dave Joly, spokesman for the FBI's Denver office.

This was just reported on Fox News, and going by their report ... it's certain that these very violent, heavily armed, very dangerous siblings are indeed in Colorado Springs. By all accounts, there's no way they'll be taken without a violent battle.

Brian Kensel, a retired FBI agent, states, "The suspect that doesn't care if he or she lives or dies is the worst case scenario for a law enforcement officer":

... all signs point to that being the mindset of the Doughertys. Kensel also points out the family dynamic may make them even more of a threat.

"It's an 'I''ll die for you, you're my brother, you're my sister' kind of a thing," he said.

The three took off one week ago Tuesday, accused of trying to kill a Zephyrhills police officer as he tried to pull them over, then robbing a Georgia bank a few hours later.

But Kensel thinks it may have been thought out long before that. He points detectives reportedly found a bunker underneath their home, and they're said to have a stockpile of weapons.

Update: The Colorado State Patrol reports that the "Dougherty gang" has been captured following a short pursuit this morning that ended in a car crash. And according to Fox News, they didn't go quietly - a gunfight occured and two of the three (including the sister) are injured.

This video gives a sense of just how violent and dangerous these siblings are:
