America's Daily National Debt Growth Is A Bigger Order Than Papa John's Could Handle!

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Frank McCaffrey puts our nation's daily debt growth into an easily understood perspective - one that should make easy for even Democrats to be able to understand.

It's more annually than companies like Papa John's, more daily than the pay of major sports stars and more by the minute than a certain powerful man in Washington.

While we're on the subject of debt - and lots of it, journeying back in time to July 3, 2008 -- the day before Independence Day -- Barack Obama said that adding $4 trillion in debt was irresponsible and "unpatriotic. That was before he himself increased the national debt in only two-thirds of his term by more than GW did in 96 months:

"Bush added an average of $51 billion a month to the national debt. In his 31 months in office, Obama has added to the national debt at an average monthly rate of $129 billion. That is 152% more per month than Obama's predecessor."

In Obama's own words, he's far more irresponsible and unpatriotic than George Bush. But, of course, we already know that and don't need him to remind us.

And need I mention that this proves Barry to be a hypocrite!
