Politico: 'GOP has no backup plan after vote'
Topics: Political News and commentariesPolitico has its panties all in a bunch in a piece titled 'GOP has no backup plan after vote' pointing out Republican disunity.
Interestingly, Politico never mentions a Democrat plan - or the lack thereof (or Obama's spending that has brought the nation to the brink of bankruptcy) ... despite the fact that it's been well over 800 days since the Democrats passed an actual budget and while the Republicans have offered up several plans, the Democrats in Congress and Barack Obama have yet to produce any plan at all.
Not saying that the GOP's plans don't need adjustments or that the GOP doesn't appear to be in a state of disarray, just pointing out that the media continues to ignore the fact that the Democrats offer no plans of their own and no specific suggestions, while they and their apologists in the media berate the GOP for making the effort of putting forth suggestions and trying to solve the debt crisis.
