'Worse Than It Was A Year Ago'

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Gallup's Economic Confidence Index is at a lower point than it was a year ago.

As Doug Mataconis points out at the link, little wonder, given the high gas prices, high unemployment, and slow economic growth, and its no surprise that the bellwether right track/wrong track poll is once again headed in the wrong direction.

In other bad news for Obama, Rasmussen's latest Presidential Tracking Survy has Republicans continuing to hold a modest lead on the Generic Congressional Ballot and Obama at -18 on the "passion index':

... 22% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -18.
