Topics: Political News and commentariesDespite Doug Mataconis (who I disagree with more often than not) having declared that Herman Cain has committed a mortal sin for saying he would be very reluctant to appoint any Muslims to his Cabinet, as Jay Tee accurately points out, Cain has appropriately raised a point that indeed should be addressed -- the loyalties that radical Muslims hold that transcend our laws, our ways, and even our nation.
Cain's suggestion that an oath of loyalty may be somewhat absurd, but the basis of his concern is extremely valid.
