Re: Rep. Peter King Seeks Answers on DOJ Decision Not to Prosecute Islamists

Topics: Political News and commentaries

HolderO.jpgOn the heels of last week's article by Patrick Poole on a high-level source conceding that the Obama/Holder DOJ let off CAIR co-founders and others for political reasons, there's now this:

House Homeland Security Chairman Peter King has fired off a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, demanding answers about why political appointees in the Obama Justice Department stopped efforts to prosecute Islamist groups shown by the evidence at the Holy Land Foundation case to have been complicit in the Muslim Brotherhood-driven conspiracy to support Hamas during the Intifada.
More at The Corner.

As troubling as both of these stories are, almost as troubling is a source's claim that "Muslim outreach" programs by U.S. government agencies to terror-tied Islamic groups have directly interfered with ongoing terrorism investigations ... along with the source commenting that this "bizarre fetish we've had about Muslim outreach since 9/11 has even damaged ongoing terrorism investigations and is eventually going to get people killed."
