Re: Government in Vermont
Topics: Political News and commentariesI just read James M. Thunder's piece in The American Thinker on the government in Vermont being at odds with the philosophy of American government, but not with the philosophy of government held by Democrats. I was left with the distinct impression that the best way to describe Vermont's government is that it's philosophy runs completely counter to everything America has stood for since it's founding.
Simply put, Vermont's governor and apparently its legislature as well, apparently believe Marxist socialism should replace capitalism and the free market, and that government should control people's lives far more than I believe people want to be controlled.
Read it yourself and see what you think.
