Obama Releases Long Form Birth Certificate
Topics: Political News and commentariesFox News (and essentially every other cable outlet) reports that White House has released President Obama's long-form birth certificate, saying the document is "proof positive" the president was born in Hawaii.
Three quick questions come to mind.
First of all, what took so long and why not until now? As Jim Geraghty writes, if the "distraction" provided "carnival barkers" was so troubling to him, it's not clear why he didn't release the innocuous document back in 2008, as some columnist recommended way back on June 9 of that year.
Secondly, and probably just as important, why did he spend millions of dollars to keep from showing it?
Thirdly, and just as important as questions 1 and 2, why is he still keeping his kindergarten records, his Punahou school records, his Occidental College records, his Columbia University records, his Columbia thesis, his Harvard Law School records, his Harvard Law Review articles, his scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, his passport, his medical records, his files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and his adoption records a secret?
Having an inquiring mind, just wondering, and besides ... I just can't find much to trust about this guy, and it's not just because I completely disagree with his policies, his agenda, and his ideology ... and have problems with his complete lack of leadership skills and understanding of what has made America great ... along with the fact that he is essentially unethical, unqualified ... and unfit to be president of the United States.
Meanwhile, having forced Obama to come up with the long form birth certificate, Trump has moved on to Obama's school records.
