Shocker: France proposes new 'political steering committee' should oversee no-fly zone over Libya
Topics: Political News and commentariesThe AP reports that France has proposed that a new political steering committe outside NATO be responsible for overseeing military operations over Libya ... which would put U.S. military forces under not only under foreign command but ... even worse ... under the command of a "political committee."
Quick, someone tell me that even the Obama administration wouldn't consent to such a ridiculous and dangerous (to U.S. troops) concept.
Fox News seems to be reporting this is a fait accompli ... but surely, there's much reaction on this to follow if the proposal is actually a done deal.
