On Obama's Fumbling In Libya: Qaddafi Stays, We Lose. We Arm The Rebels And They Win, Most Likely We Lose!

Topics: Islam And The War On Terror, Libya
As we learn today that Barack Obama has likely committed the United States to a military action in which our key ally and ground force is incapable of accomplishing our primary objective ...
First, it was Obama's hesitancy and all the wringing of hands about imposing a no-fly zone over Libya. Then, establishing it belatedly - after having given Qaddafi and his mercenary thugs ample time to regroup and beat the rebels back. Then, Obama's monkeying around (no pun intended) about who is in charge of the military operations - whether the US, the UN, NATO, the French, the Brits, the Canadians, the Italians, or Moe, Larry, and Curly!

Then the war that is not a war but a "Kinetic Military Operation" and all the double talk about "we are in, we are out," "we are in, we are out"! The way in which this indecisive, incompetent, of Obama has gotten us involved in this Libyan fiasco is simply mindboggling! This clown doesn't have a freaking clue about what he's doing, and he's gotten us involved in a "lose, lose" situation in Libya!

Because Obama failed to act decisively and take out Qaddafi when he should have - instead playing Hamlet on the world stage, seeking the approval and consensus of the world community to ameliorate his personal insecurities when it comes to the leadership he obviously lacks - Qaddafi and his mercenaries have been able to regroup and are now pushing back the disorganized rebels and retaking control of Libya.

Wow! Can you imagine how embarrassing it would be for this administration , if the Libyan tin-pot dictator is able to remain in power after all, sticking his middle finger at Obama, and his coalition of "who's on first, what's on second" NATO and Costello, "we don't know who is in charge here" Vaudevillians?

Now, in order to avert this very possible, grim, outcome without putting American boots on the ground, and forgetting the lessons of the past, now we are going to arm the rebels - just as we armed Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan to fight the Russians, and then Bin Laden turned those very same weapons against us with equal, if not much more gusto - so they can defeat Qaddafi, knowing full well that many of those rebels are militant Jihadists, that as with Osama, once in power, will turn those weapons against American soldiers! It's sheer lunacy.

And thus, if Qaddafi manages to stay in power, we not only embarrassingly lose - for all our no-fly zones and all our superior air power, but have managed through Obama's fumbling to enrage a virulent viper, who is a well known state sponsor supporter of terrorism, and who undoubtedly will make it his personal vendetta to carry out some horrific terrorist attack here in America. Let's brace ourselves!

On the other hand, if the rebels win, most likely a Taliban-like Islamist regime hell-bent on the destruction of America will be established in Libya, which will then become a haven and base of operations for terrorist Jihadists, and then, again, we lose!

The only plausible solution to avoid either of these scenarios from becoming reality, is for American troops to invade Libya, kill and or depose Qaddafi and prosecute him for his crimes against humanity, and do some nation building as in Iraq, in order to ensure the Jihadists do not come to power. Otherwise, no matter what is the outcome...we lose ... thanks to this bumbling idiot in the White House, our Narcissist-in-Chief, who thinks that just by being charming, black, and using his empty rhetoric, he can solve all of the world's problems.
