Obama To Blame High Gas Prices On US Oil Companies
Topics: Political News and commentariesYep. Barry's going there once again with the same old canard. As Steve Gilbert points out at the link, in Obama's ideological mindset it's the oil companies fault because they aren't drilling in those particular areas where he'll allow them to drill ... despite the fact that many of the the leases were for exploration -- and no oil was found, and others are unsafe or played out.
Meanwhile, we're on the fast-track to $4 a gallon oil, and Obama's Secretary of Energy wants to take gas prices to the levels in Europe where it is now more than $10 a gallon.
Other coverage: With Oil Prices Rising, Obama Looks To....Reduce Imports! (... nothing that will decrease the price of oil in the short or long term, just measures that will increase prices of everything else.)
