Michelle Bachmann on Obamacare's $105 billion dirty secret
Topics: Political News and commentariesIn the Democrat's rush to pass Obamacare there was much that went unnoticed, and Representative Michele Bachmann is getting the word out about one aspect of it - the outrageously egregious spending hidden in Obamacare found by The Hertiage Foundation, Bachmann, and Rep. Steve King. Deep inside the bill is hidden $105,654,000,000 appropriated to Obamacare, including giving powers of spending limitless amounts of money to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Bachmann appeared first on Greta Van Sustren's show last week to reveal this new finding, and now she appeared on Sean Hannity's TV show to explain the details. Remember, the bill is over 2,900 pages long and the GOP didn't even see the bill prior to just two hours before the Dems brought it up for a vote. (Hat tip - Jennifer Cubachi).
As pointed out at Human Events, rather than respecting the right of future Congresses to decide on funding, ObamaCare's sponsors included several years' worth of current and future appropriations for the health care makeover--money that mostly has not yet been spent. The billions appropriated for ObamaCare are outlined in Congressional Research Service Report R41301, "Appropriations and Fund Transfers in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA)," issued on Oct. 14.
Unquestionably, purposeful deceit on the part of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi.
