Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) to Politico: "It is amazing to me how really downright stupid the Democrats are, especially the leaders around the White House"
Topics: Political News and commentariesThe title of the Politico piece reads "Hopes for cooperation dashed" ... the caption under the AP photo reads "Wednesday's meeting played out as if the White House summit had never happened." Both are understatements, as evidenced by Senator Orin Hatch's (R-Utah) frustration of a Democratic leadership that continues to refuse to recognize the screaming rebuke of their policies and agenda delivered to them on November 2:
""It is amazing to me how really downright stupid the Democrats are, especially the leaders around the White House," Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) told POLITICO. "The best thing they could do is get rid of the Congress right now" by finishing must-do bills and leaving town.Rep. David Camp (R-Mich.) was also frustrated and unimpressed with the so-called "bipartisanship" and the Dems' cluelessness:
"Now is the time for serious negotiations, not political stunts," Camp said. "This is disappointing and a sign of bad faith after the president agreed to bipartisan, bi-cameral talks. There will be bipartisan opposition to the Democrats' push to raise taxes on small business."Read the entire piece here ...
