Obama's Oil Policy Killing the Industry (Obamunism at Work)
Topics: Political News and commentariesThe AP reports that the Obama administration's decision this week to ban drilling in both the eastern Gulf of Mexico and along the Atlantic seaboard has residents wondering if the industry will ever thrive again in U.S. waters.
Mark Noonan aptly calls it Obamunism, and labels it for what it indeed is ... pure politics:
Obama needs to please well-heeled, environmentally conscious, liberal voters. And that is how Obama's America works - a place where pure, political calculation to advance a liberal agenda is all that matters.For the benefit of the uninformed, "Obamunism" is now actually in the dictionary (okay, so it's not exactly Merriam Webster's) ... and can best be defined as the high-tax, big government, economic growth-killing, 'everyday life-controlling', centrally planned economic regime favored by Barack Hussein Obama which is enforced by a network of community organizers, labor unions, trial lawyers, environmentalists, and dominant media corporations. essentially the same as Communism and Socialism.
