In answer to the question of using the word 'tyrannical' in describing the Obama administration ...
Topics: Political News and commentaries
Nice Deb asks if it's yet time to start openly describing the Obama administration as tyrannical, even though the word indeed conjures up images of leftist dictators like Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. And as she astutely suggests, given the way the administration flouts the will of Congress, the courts, and the American people to impose its far-left agenda through arbitrary regulation ... what other name is there for it?
After all, it's not as though she hasn't pointed to clear examples supporting using the T-word in describing the Obama administration.
And didn't Thomas Sowell suggest the same back when he asked where in the Constitution of the United States does it say that a president has the authority to extract vast sums of money from a private enterprise and distribute it as he sees fit to whomever he deems worthy of compensation?
As did Sher Zieve when he noted that Obama had officially began his policy to remove U.S. citizen's rights with a report - written and implemented by the Department of Homeland Security - that labels and classifies all US citizens who oppose him, voted or plan to vote for 3rd party candidates, display bumper stickers recommending said 3rd party candidates or are pro-life (therefore anti-abortion) as "right-wing extremists."
Then there's the Department of Justice's argument in Kerchner et al. vs. Obama & Congress that manifests in the clearest terms that they no longer hold the U.S. Constitution as the Supreme Law of the Land, but rather consider it merely as a theoretical construct.
Some could reasonably argue that describing the Obama administration as tyrannical is no longer a question ... and logically suggest, with evidence, that Obama and the word "tyrant" are fast-becoming as synonymous as Chavez, Castro, and Kim Jong Ill with the word.

As for the image, it seems to me that the mere fact that one makes such a pose ... says something about the man. No president in history has ever been photographed so many times with his chin stuck up in the air like he was some kind of ... tyrant.
