Sharia in New Jersey: High School Student Suspended For 'Offending Muslim'Topics: Political News and commentaries, Understanding Islam
A case of political correctness gone beyond being run amuck. A male Wayne Valley High school student who innocently used the word â€Å"Taliban in a conversation about a video game was suspended when a female Muslim student (who he'd never seen before) overheard it and "perceived" he was looking at her when he said it.
Apparently we've now arrived at the point in America that a Muslim being offended based upon mere "perception" is sufficient for punishment. Regardless of how the principle spins it - this is not only de-facto application of sharia law, plain and simple, while ignoring the student's right of free speech - even had he intentionally referred to the female student as "Taliban" - which he denies. Furthermore, it seems that a Muslim's word and rights have preference over that of a non-Muslim.
