Re: George Soros Buys 100 NPR 'Reporters'

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Apparently NPR (perhaps more accurately referred to as National Progressive Ramblings) has received a $1.8 million grant from the Open Society Foundations to begin a project called Impact of Government that is intended to add at least 100 journalists at NPR member radio stations in all 50 states over the next three years. As Steve Gilbert points out, this is taking George Soros' brand of liberal-progressivism "down" to a whole new (local) level.

Noteworthy, as Steve also points out, is the fact that the name of George Soros does not appear anywhere in the New York Times article in which the story on the new NPR funding is reported - this, after the NYT's sudden concern about 'secret donors.'

Given that taxpayer-funded NPR has long-held liberal bias and has been spouting liberal-progressive views for decades (note that they actually admitted a liberal bias in 2003), this isn't much of a change - it's now just a better funded liberal-progressive conduit for dispensing propaganda.
