More on 'Defining political hypocrisy'

Topics: Political News and commentaries

After reviewing another round of Sunday talk show appearances by Robert Gibbs and David Axelrod, it should be abundantly clear to all that the White House is determined to continue to take political hypocrisy to a new level in their unsupported and outrageous attacks on the Chamber of Commerce. But what makes the attacks all the more outrageously hypocritical, so much so that even some Democrats are questioning the WH attacks, is the reports that Obama spent a record $744 million on his campaign but has disclosed donors for only $485 million, and thousands of his donations, amounting to millions of dollars, came from foreign sources. Add to this fact, Democrats take in twice as much "foreign" money as Republicans.

Hypocritical? You bet it is. Then, as Nice Deb aptly notes, there's the not-so-little matter of the Chamber of Commerce having already stated that they have no intention of publicizing who their donors are, in order to protect them from the intimidation practices of Obama allies like the SEIU, the AFL-CIO, HCANN.

The stench coming out of this WH appears to grow with each passing day. As veteran Democratic operative Pat Caddell says, he's had enough with the president whos "hypocrisy" on campaign finance "is just mind-blowing." As Caddell puts it, "These are naive idiots who've come out of academia and have never done anything real in their lives, and they are actually in power." These are the people we never let in the room when we had serious business to do. Now they're running the country."

Indeed, and that about sums up the situation our nation finds itself in!
