Meet Marc Van Der Hout, the immigration attorney for Nicky Diaz, the former housekeeper and accuser of California's gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman. Van Der Hout has a rather shady past, is usually associated with accused terrorists, and as one might expect of such a character he has given a fair amount of money

A cynic might perceive this as a political stunt meant to help a Democratic gubernatorial candidate.
