Video: Democrat Rep. Melissa Bean Uses Thug To Intimidate 'Troublesome' Constituents At Townhall Meeting

Topics: Political News and commentaries

And by "troublesome constituents," we mean anyone posing a question she doesn't want to answer.

Beleaguered Democrat Rep. Melissa Bean of Illinois has a new method of shielding herself from taxpayers' tough questions: She's hired her own street thug to glower and menace troublesome constituents.

The meeting shown in the video was held at Round Lake, Illinois Public library on Thursday August 12. Incredibly, the Obamacare-supporting democrat allowed the thug to roam around the room to intimidate constituents from asking questions. The thug in the video supposedly works for the library, however a commenter at Gateway Pundit says she goes to this library all the time and has never seen the guy there before Bean's meeting:

The video pretty well speaks for itself, and I can't see any wiggle room for Bean to explain away the obvious intimidation and her ducking of questions.

Robert Stacy McCain notes that like many other vulnerable Democrats in this mid-term campaign, Bean has refused to debate her Republican challenger, Joe Walsh.

Take-home question: Does anybody know who the thug in the video is?
