Topics: Political News and commentariesAs Mondo points out, Lisa Murkowski joins Charlie Crist, among others, in that exclusive club of "You can have my seat at the DC table when you pry my cold, dead hands off of it," and the clueless GOP is sending lawyers to help her out against the wishes of the grassroots that apparently voted her out.
And as was the case with Florida's Charlie "Which way the wind blows" Crist, the GOP's backing the wrong horse in the race; and also as was the case with Crist, the GOP's going to be left with egg on it's face and a really pissed-off grassroots. To say that the RNC and the GOP leadership in Congress are out of touch with an already PO'd grassroots, would be a huge, and growing, understatement. What is it about the seats they now occupy not being theirs but rather the people's who they represent do these fools not understand?
