Rasmussen On Florida Senate Race: Rubio Leads Crist

Topics: Political News and commentaries

It looks like voters in Florida are beginning to wake up and come to their senses. Marco Rubio now leads Charlie "Which way the wind blows" Independent/Democrat Crist by by 5, 38% to 33%, with Democrat Kendrick Meek at 21%.

As Larry Thornberry wrote back in June, name any position on the issues facing Floridians and some time over the past year Crist has held that position. How he can remember, without cue cards or some other prompt, what his own positions are on a given day, is anyone's guess. And now that he's learned to stop worrying and go left, with the aid of Maoist and Schumerist professionals, it will take a right peculiar Republican to vote for him in November.

Still, a lot can change between now and November - never under estimate the power of voters to be fooled by a slippery, sleazy, wishy-washy, unprincipled, narcissistic, politician like Charlie Crist. However, Crist was always, at best - a RINO, and now that he's given up all pretense of being conservative and essentially embraced the left (his media team will be led by Josh Isay, who formerly worked for liberal New York Senator Chuck Schumer), it will indeed take a "right peculiar Republican to vote for him in November."
