Rasmussen: Barry's Approval Tanking

As Dan Riehl points out, this is the guy who was going to be the big difference for his party in the mid-terms, and, along with Pelosi and Reid convinced fellow Democrats to jump over a political clift in voting for Obamacare.

Well, that's not workin' out so well:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -22 (see trends).

As for Obamacare supposedly being a plus in the midterms - bad idea: 55% Favor Repeal of Health Care Law:

Support for repeal of the new national health care bill is down slightly from last week, but the number that expects costs to rise under the new plan remains close to the record high.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 55% of U.S. Likely Voters favor repeal of the health care bill. Thatâ€™s down from 59% a week ago, but support for repeal has ranged from 52% to 60%since the law was passed by Congress in March.

Thirty-eight percent (38%) now oppose repeal of the bill, showing little change over the past month. Opposition to repeal has ranged from 32% to 42% since March.

Emotion also continues to be on the side of those who want to repeal the bill. These new numbers include 47% who Strongly Favor repeal and 30% who Strongly Oppose it.
