Obama Finally Speaks Out on Ground Zero Mosque (Updated)

Borrowing from the teaser by Doug Powers over at Michelle Malkin's, President Obama broke his silence on the Ground Zero mosque debate during a speech at tonight's Ramadan dinner at the White House.

And that's about all you need to know for you to successfully guess which side of the issue Barack Hussein Obama falls on, right?

Our president is either incredibly naive about who and what the imam of the Ground Zero Mosque really is, what his intentions really are, and what the mosque will actually represent to radical Muslim around the world, he's the worlds biggest dhimmi, he's a unapologetic Muslim apologist, or more likely, a combination of two or more of these.

As Jennifer Rubin sums up the situation:

Obama has shown his true sentiments now, after weeks of concealing them, on an issue of deep significance not only to the families and loved ones of 3,000 slaughtered Americans but also to the vast majority of his fellow citizens. He has once again revealed himself to be divorced from the values and concerns of his countrymen. He is entirely â€" and to many Americans, horridly -- a creature of the left, with little ability to make moral distinctions. His sympathies for the Muslim World take precedence over those, such as they are, for his fellow citizens. This is nothing short of an abomination.

And calling it an abomination just may be putting it mildly. Can you imagine how this is going to play with voter turnout in November and which party is going to have the most motivated voters?
