Rasmussen's 'Passion Index': Obama at -20
Topics: Political News and commentariesAmerican's are waking up to the fact that Barack Obama's "Hope and Change" really meant socialism and a big government that rules over them rather than them ruling themselves - and they're not liking it one bit.

The latest Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that only 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president, while Forty-five percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20. Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove.
And that's not all the bad news for the president. Republicans hold a ten-point advantage on the Generic Congressional Ballot.
And as a measure of how far out of touch with the American people Barack Obama and the political elite in Washington are, Rasmussen finds that contrary to what the political class believes, seventy-five percent (75%) prefer free markets over a government managed economy..
Put a bit more succinctly, Americans are not likin' one tiny bit the pig n' a poke they've been sold.
