Reality Bites the NYT: More Black Republicans Running For Congress

Has reality finally bit the NYT? How is it that a "racist" Tea Party movement includes growing numbers of African-Americans and supports African-American candidates for Congress? Has even the NYT now begun to realize that the Democrats and the medias "racist" narrative just doesn't match up with the facts about the Tea Party movement and the GOP?

For the past year, the national media has attempted to paint the Tea Party movement and opposition to the Democratic agenda as based in racism, a reaction to the election of the first African-American President in November 2008. As the New York Times discovers, the reality of the opposition makes that very difficult to believe.
