Illegal immigration 'justice'?

Topics: Immigration and Border Issues, Political News and commentaries

Not sure whether to call this well-deserved "justice" or getting a taste of one's own medicine. Perhaps both apply.

Daniel Foster writes:

Three years ago, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick rescinded a Mitt Romney executive order that gave Massachusetts police the authority to investigate immigration violations.

Fast-forward to last week: a suspected illegal immigrant -- apparently wearing a "Mexican costume" and driving drunk -- rear-ends a Massachusetts state lawmaker at 60 mph, causing serious injury. When police arrive on scene and told the perp the kind of trouble he was in,

". . . he just laughed slurring that he was going to go back to 'my country' Mexico. 'Nothing is going to happen to me man.'"
The lawmaker injured in the crash, by the way, is an open-borders advocate.
On second thought, add "reality check" to my first two applicable descriptions of the story.
