Rasmussen: Obama tanks 2 more points in 24 hours

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for March 08, 2010 shows that only 22% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President, an forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove - giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19. This is 2 points down from yesterday's -17.

[...] Forty-two percent (42%) favor the President's health care plan while 53% are opposed. Most believe passage of the plan will increase the cost of health care. Fifty-five percent (55%) say that Congress should scrap the current health care legislation and start over.

[...] Overall, fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove of the President's performance, and forty-six percent (46%) of voters say they at least somewhat approve.

In one way nothing has changed. The more Obama talks about health care, the lower his approval rating goes.
