Michelle Malkin Questions Glenn Beck on Eric Massa Appearance
Topics: Political News and commentariesVia Three Fingers of Politics, "Culture of Corruption" author and noted conservative Michelle Malkin went on Beck's radio show today and what began as a civil discourse had some heated moments pertaining to Beck dedicating his entire show to an appearance by former Rep. Eric Massa, D-N.Y. - the subject of Rahm Emanuel's shower tirade.
I look forward to seeing how Beck plays his Massa interview at 5 ET today. Michelle is right to point out that Eric Massa is "a sick, desperate pol looking to save his hide and distract from his smelly ethics problems and personal problems" - essentially saying he's a far-left, liberal-progressive, scumbag (my words - not hers) - whose truthfulness deserves a significant degree of scrutiny. However, nonetheless, Beck is also right in saying that Massa's history and positions don't necessarily mean that we can't learn something from him about what's going on behind the scenes with the Democratic leadership.
