ICYMI: SNL Mocks Obama, Pelosi, Reid and 'Unpopular' Healthcare Reform
Topics: Political News and commentariesJust in case you missed it, "Saturday Night Live" mocked the entire Democrat establishment last evening taking on President Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), and healthcare reform (H/t - NewsBusters):
Transcript at NewsBusters.
SNL's mocking of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi is indeed appropriate. According to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey, most U.S. voters (55%) would rather see Congress scrap the original plan and start all over again. And as far Obama's popularity, the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that just 24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President, while forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17. Reid continues to be unpopular - behind in double digits against his Republican challengers.
